Process
Our fully integrated system which manufactures MS Pencil Ingots,
Steel Castings, Alloy Steel Castings, Alloys and Iron Castings is
designed for complete flexibility to meet our customer's requirements.
Our staff is fully prepared to work with Total Quality Management and
Inventory Expectations. Complete design and intricate core work is
handled by our experienced work force and design engineers who have
been in casting industry for years. Coreless induction furnaces are
used for all melting operations.
Pattern Making:: Several pattern shops
are on call having many years of pattern making experience. Patterns
are developed as per the drawings provided by the customers or can be
developed on the basis of requirements of our products.
Molding and Core Making:: Hand molding
by CO2 Process. Core making is by CO2 and No-bake process. Chrome Ore
Sand and Zircon Sand is used for core molding. Most of the molds are
coated with Zircon refractory coating to give excellent surface finish
Cleaning::
Pneumatic Chipping Machines are used for sand removal. Most of the
Fettling is done manually by Swing Frame Grinders and Cutters.
Heat Treatment::
For annealing, normalizing and forced draft cooling oil fired front
load furnace of 7.5 m x 6 m x 3.5 m with temperature range up to 900
degree centrigrade equipped with temperature graph recorder.
Machining::
For smaller jobs, we have a vertical turning lathe of 2300 mm. Table
dia of SCHIESS which is German made. So assignments up to 10 tons,
within 2300 mm dia can be supplied in fully-machined condition.
For bigger jobs, we have contractual agreement with local machine shops so as to supply jobs of any size or weight.
